140 SIXTH GRADERS SIGN UP FOR BEGINNING BAND!!
How exciting!!! Over 140 sixth graders have decided to begin their adventure in the Carter Band Program!! Congratulations sixth graders and good luck! You have started something that will prove to be the most fun thing you do throughout your school career!!

MRS. ANGIE MESSER NAMED AS DIRECTOR OF BANDS!!
Carter Middle School welcomes Mrs. Angie Messer as the new Director of Bands. Mrs. Messer has had a very successful career as a music educator. She just completed her seventh year as Director of Bands at Carter High School where, under her direction, the Carter HS Band flourished. The program increased from 35 members to an overwhelming 170 plus member band! We look forward to what she will do for the program at Carter Middle. See her complete bio on the directors' page.

MR. KEVIN ROSS NAMED AS ASSISTANT BAND DIRECTOR!!
Carter Middle also extends a welcome to Mr. Kevn Ross, Assistant Band Director. Mr. Ross will be floating back and forth from the Middle School to the High School during the day. His full bio can be found on the directors' page.
